I don't know what other clinics do in terms of bed rest, but @ C.CRM it is day of and after transfer...whether it is a 3 or 5dt. I guess I'm wondering what is the point of bed rest? I figured for me at this point the embryo(s) would hopefully implant (if they're going to) by the end of the roughly 48 hours. But if I had done a 3dt, 48 hours of bed rest wouldn't have had the embryos at implantation stage anyway. I know that once they're placed in your uterus they can't come out or anything so...I'm just curious. Hopefully my question makes sense, lol.

Re: Bed rest
My RE doesn't require bedrest at all. They say to take it easy the day of, but that's it. With my first IVF I put myself on bedrest the day of. Then I went to work the next day. I got a BFN and felt like I wish I would have stayed home from work. With my 2nd IVF I did bed rest the day of and the next day I was mostly on the couch. I got a BFP, but had a c/p.
Honestly, I don't know if it makes any difference or not. I've seen ladies get BFP's and BFN's with and without bedrest. I think if it's going to work out, it's going to work out - barring some extreme behavior. I just think that whatever makes you feel the most comfortable is what is best to do. With my 1st IVF I had a stressful day at work the next day and so I really regretted going in. I think you have to do what will make you have no regrets.
Best of luck hun!!!
I had to do 24 hours of bed rest, but I'm not exactly sure the reasoning. My nurse also told me to not do anything that I would be regretting later. Basically like PP said, it's a mental thing. Don't do anything that you are going to beat yourself up about later if it doesn't work.
That being said, when we went to our WTF after our BFN, the RE said that there was nothing that we did or didn't do that would have caused this to happen. He said if the embryos were able to create a baby then they would have stuck.
Good luck!
