Last year it seemed like everyone (myself included) made vanilla for Christmas gifts. What's it going to be this year?
I took my kids on a field trip to a honey bee farm this week and was inspired to order 15 lbs. of beeswax. Looks like everyone we know is going to be getting handmade beeswax candles and lip balm this year.
Re: What's going to be the big Christmas craft/DIY this year?
You crack me up.
I am doing hot buttered rum 'batter' in canning jars with little bottles of rum attached.

It starts with a pound of butter, add 2 lb brown sugar, an egg and a bunch of intense spices. You use a tablespoon to about 6 oz of boiling water and add rum to taste. It's awesomely tasty.
I'd need to dig out the exact recipe if you want it.
