Ok so I think I'm starting to obsess over this!! I still haven't gotten AF and it will be 5 weeks tomorrow. I know it's not that bad, but I was so regular before my pregnancy. I am so afraid that this is going to cause me to be irregular and not be able to get pregnant again. I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but can someone tell me I need to calm down and it will be OK. I'm just stressing big time right now.
Re: Losing my mind over AF!
I know exactly what you're going through, and it WILL be okay. The time between the d&c and my first AF was 13 weeks... which to me, felt like an ETERNITY. I felt like the universe was out to get me. However, it DOES pass, af WILL come, and it will be okay.
One thing that helped me was having a plan. I talked to my dr. and they told me that if I didn't get AF by a certain date, to call them and they'd induce AF. However, AF ended up coming before that date. But it did give me a "light at the end of the tunnel" that I felt like I was lacking.

It took me 12 weeks to get AF after loss, but after loss it can take a couple cycles before normal comes around. I hope she comes soon for you!
Bippidy boppity boo!
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the first step."
I agree, the waiting is terrible. I agree with the PP, if AF does not arrive soon I would speak to your doctor about jump starting her with Provera.
I am starting it this Sunday....
I can't tell you to calm down cus well I am in the same boat....it will be 8 weeks for me tomorrow..the same amount of time I was actually PG...
like you i was super uber regular before I got PG- thats actually how I knew I was I was more then 2 days late! I honestly thought the way my body was before the PG I would just jump right back into it- and since I had a natural m/c which happened just days after I went to the Dr and found out. But here I am nearly 8 weeks after my m/c and no AF in site...I even thought I O 3 weeks ago.
Just wanted to say that your not alone and thanks for posting this makes me feel a little better knowing im not the only one!
It's totally normal that AF hasn't shown up for you yet. I know that probably doesn't make you feel any better. Some people take much longer than 5 wks. You can always ask your dr. for Provera to jump start it. In my situation I had to go on the Nuvaring to induce my last 2 pd's post d&e. but I started using the Nuvaring at 2 wks post d&e as advised by my dr. (you wear it 3 wks, remove for 1 wk and get your pd. sometime during the removal pd....I usually get my pd's on day 2 after removal like clockwork). I was told that it can take awhile for your body to readjust after a loss. Try not to stress too much. If you were regular before your loss I'd bet you'd still be regular afterward. My problem is that I have always been irregular. Hope AF comes soon for you!
