Speaking of shoes, any reviews for Children's Place?

The shoes I just loaded up on at Stride Rite are all very sporty sneakers and I'd like to get C a pair of brown or black shoes (not quite dressy, but nicer than tennis shoes). TCP  has some really cute options for less than $20, plus I have a coupon. They *look* pretty comfy, but that doesn't always mean anything.

Anyone pick try Children's Place shoes for their toddler recently?

DD got a pair of shoes as a gift from Children's Place last winter and she loved them. They were leather-esque type mary janes and she wore them more than others. They were super soft.

Maggie had some purple shoes from them in the past.  They were sturdy and had great soles.  I felt like maybe the soles weren't AS flexible as stride rite but that was probably the only difference I saw in them.  They also weren't shoes she wore every day so that may have been the difference in flexibility as well.
