A girl named Perri would not enjoy working in the healthcare field. We refer to the genital area on both males and females as the "peri area" and when I have to clean a patient's peri area we refer to that as "peri care."

I don't hate it as much as everyone else, but I don't like it either. It makes me think of the actress that played Roz on Frasier (Peri Gilpin).

What about: Penny (Penelope), Phoebe, Piper, Poppy, or Pippa (Philippa)?

I really dislike it.I have only known one Perry,and he was a giant douche.So I think of it as a boy''s name,and one with a negative connotation for me.

I like PP's suggestions of Poppy and Penny.Those are similar but so much better.
