I haven't posted here very much but thought I would see if anyone has any suggestions for us. We are possibly looking for full time child care for our 12 week old in/near Fishers. We are at a KinderCare right now, but my husband is upset because the last two mornings he has taken the baby in there hasn't been a staff member in the infant room. I am hoping it will work out, but also want to start looking elsewhere just in care it doesn't. Thanks in advance!
Re: Fishers child care
We are also at a Kindercare near Fishers - I would suggest you talk to the Director about your concerns (that's what they are there for). I know at our daycare, in the mornings, they 'open' certain rooms first and have teachers arrival times staggered.
For example, they open the infant room first, and that's where all the infants/toddlers go - until the toddler teacher get there and they 'open' the toddler room. And all the 2's/3's/4's/kindergardens play together in one room in the morning until they 'open' all the respective rooms.
Good luck! The whole daycare 'scene' takes some getting used to and its hard with your first kid because you don't know what to expect. But talk to the staff and the director and you'll get the hang of it. But if you continue to feel uncomfortable or don't get answers you like, definetly look somewhere else.
