does it mean you are close?

if the babies drop and you feel lots of pelvic pressure suddenly? Or can babies drop and you can still go a few more weeks that way? TIA

  • It could go either way.  I always say that if it concerns you enough to ask here you should just call.  I know you're ready.

  • I feel like I could have written your exact post...I even have a doctors appointment on Monday.

Although, I don't feel TONS of pressure, but when I sit up for too long now I start getting a lot of braxton-hicks and I can feel the little people pushing against my pelvis. So I guess it's a little different. I also want them to keep cooking, and I hope yours stay put for a few more weeks!

I don't feel like they've moved substantially, so I kind of don't think mine have dropped yet.

  • Monday must be a popular day for doc appointments. I have one too! I also feel like I've dropped. I've had a ton more pressure and there is a noticeable gap between my bump and my boobs. When I stand up, my belly just feels so heavy. I know you can drop weeks before you're babies are ready though.

  • I delivered at 36 weeks and 3 days and for weeks before I felt like every time I took a step a baby was going to fall out of my crotch and onto the floor.
