IMO-and this is just my opinion not meant to be rude.
I think this is stupid. Just because a kid is not vaccinated does not mean they are going to give something to a kid that is. It is just as likely that a vax child will give another vax child a virus or anything when they are sharing teehter.
I would not share teethers whether they are vax. or unvax. I would not discriminate against anyone for their choice to vax or not vax their child and I look down on people who do discriminate.
So does this mean you discriminate against people who discriminate???
There is a reason for vaccinations and just like some doctors offices will not take patients who are not vaccinated, I would probably not want my kid in a playgroup with kids who do not vaccinate. In my mind the mother makes the choice to have her child excluded from some situations (like doctors offices or my playgroup) when she chooses to go against all the advice of many medical experts and not vaccinate her child for the safely of everyone---including her child!
A child who cannot be vaccinated because he or she is allergic though is another story in my opinion. The reason the rest of us vaccinate is so those allergic are protected by herd immunity.
I know the original poster didn't want this to turn into a debate so I will stick with my answer - I would not be comfortable having my kid go to a playgroup with unvacinated children until my child is old enough that he has had all her own vaccinations for protection.
