So I have officially lost all patience for stupid comments

After yoga, my friend and I walked into the bathroom, and this horrible woman (this is the same woman who said to the line of pregnant women waiting to use the bathroom after our class months ago: "Ugh, better you than me!")  looks at my belly and snottily says "Wow is there only one in there?!"  Super Angry

I glared at her and said "Thanks." as sarcastically as I could. She got kind of flustered and my friend said she was afraid I was going to hit her I looked so p!ssed. I hope she got the message that she was being rude. I wish I had said something else or something more cutting but that's all I could come up with.

Now that I've thought it through I wish I had said: "It might be hard for you to remember what pregnant women are supposed to look like since it's probably been a good twenty years since you've even been able to get your period, but my belly is perfectly normal for someone who will be giving birth in less than 3 weeks, so STFU."  She was probably late 40s/early 50s so that would have stung Devil But alas, you always think of those good comebacks too late!

    I don't understand why people think they can say whatever they want to pregnant people! Someone in line at the grocery store said to me the other day that I shouldn't be drinking caffeine pregnant. I had a decaf tea. It annoyed me because it was none of her business and she was like 65. Back then they drank alcohol and smoked cigarettes while pregnant!

    While the come-back that you have thought of now is WAY AWESOME!...sarcastically saying "thanks" the way you did must have given her a good warning not to say that to pregnant women in the future.  You're a gorgeous momma, we'll all tell you that a million times over! =)

    I can't believe the things people say.  It's so rude.  It's even worse whan they say something (about my size) & they still outweigh me by 40+ lbs & they aren't even pregnant.
