Teething and throwing up

Beck's getting his first tooth and his DCP has been texting me telling me that he's been throwing up and took a 3 hour nap, which is very out of character for him. He's acting completely normal and happy otherwise and has no temp. He threw up three times today already. Google has conflicting answers on this (imagine that) so I was wondering if any of you have experienced vomiting related to teething.

Teething, boo. I am sorry, Nora seems to have the opposite reaction when teething (runs a temp and does not sleep). I hope he feels better soon!

Hmm tough call. DD threw up twice last weekend, and that was the first time EVER. It was awful....excercist type stuff!  She had a bug though... not teething.

Yep my LO spits up more often while teething.  Also he'll either sleep all day or he won't sleep at all.  Like yesterday took a 4 hr nap in the AM and a 2.5 hr nap in the PM & went to bed early.  Today though we are fighting for naps (finally asleep now).  He's either whining or crying all day today.  He also gets diaper rash and sometimes a little rash on his cheeks.  The teeth just poked through.

DS#1 always threw up when he was teething.  The first couple times it happened we took him to the doc but she said he was just teething.  If he started throwing up without a fever, we figured he was just teething....and he always was!  He has a sensitive gag reflex so all that extra drool he tried to swallow caused it I think.
