So we started a new playgroup, which is great because it's only kids that are 18-36 months, with the majority of the kids being within a few months of my son's age.
While the other kids were fighting over toys, throwing tantrums when another child took their toys, etc. my son shared and played well with all the other children. He would walk up to all the other kids and give them toys/snacks-it was so cute! I think having a sibling close in age and knowing nothing but having to share attention/toys helped with his behavior so much.
I was so proud of my little guy.
Re: A benefit of 2u2
I totally agree!
My mom friends who have only children are always raving about how great my kids are a play dates and while I never say it to them I know it's only because they practice sharing non-stop every day of their lives.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
LOL! I'm an only myself, but I share pretty well. Better than my DH that has siblings. In his defense, his siblings are further apart in age, so less opportunities to share toys.
