Lol! I had a period during this pregnancy where I couldn't get enough chocolate Ovaltine! Only thing I can think of from my childhood that I've recently added back into my diet... Hot Malt-o-meal with a lil bit of brown sugar... Mmmm
Yes! In my first and now third trimester, I wanted to eat a lot of foods I ate during childhood. I thought it was weird, so I'm glad I'm not the only one this happened to!

I have had cravings for several different things my grandma used to cook for me. She went in to a nursing home when I was in sixth grade so these are things I haven't eaten in forever and unfortunately I don't even know how to make most of them =/

Oh, my goodness, I haven't had that since I was about 5! My brother and I used to *love* it, but it wasn't available in Canada when we moved here. For the first year or so my parents would bring it back from trips or get friends in the States to send it to us, but they couldn't keep doing that. I wonder if I even still like it. I don't even really remember what it tasted like, just that I loved it.
Funny you posted this...I've been wanting this cereal I used to eat when I was a kid for weeks now. Triples. Mmmm. Best cereal EVER and it appears stupid General Mills doesn't make it anymore. Or if they do they don't sell it in the south (I grew up in the north...so I guess it's possible the south just doesn't know good cereal...I mean, they do prefer grits over cream of wheat, so it would make sense).
Oh yeah, throughout the whole pregnancy I seem to have regressed to childhood, foodwise. Spaghettios, Mac n cheese, jello, pudding, handisnacks, Hi-C juice boxes, ice pops, and I really want pudding pops but they don't make them anymore.
The main one for me is chocolate milk. I hadn't had it in years until this pregnancy. Now I get a little bottle to drink with my lunch several times a week. Mmm.
Also, sometimes I make myself plain cheese sandwiches with mustard, cut into triangles the way my dad would do when I was a kid. At least these days I use real cheese rather than the, ahem, "processed cheese food" that my parents used to buy (the store-brand block of 64 individually-wrapped slices. I'm glad I don't have any cravings for those).
Grilled cheese sandwiches..with the processed cheese and everything. I can not get enough of these-my 2 yr old stepdaughter doesn't mind though lol I split one with her with apples/whatever so I feel a little less guilty x.x;; doesn't help when it's all I want to eat though (that and chocolate cupcakes).

Last pregnancy I wanted liverwurst on white bread with yellow mustard which my dad used to give me when I was like a toddler.
This pregnancy - Ovaltine.
Are you craving something you only had when you were a kid?
My entire pregnancy has been filled with childhood-related cravings. Chef Boyardee and Speghetti-O's, Boxed Mac-and-cheese (I've long since switched to made from scratch!) Bubblegum Icecream, Grilled cheese, Ham-cottagecheese-and boiled eggs, chocolate milk, sweet gherkin pickles, black olives. All of these are foods I LOVED as a kid.

YES. Every time we go to a festival or fair I want elephant ears. Also, I recently found gummy strawberries at TJ Maxx, of all places. I haven't had gummy strawberries in like 15 years. They only had one pack left, though, and I've been craving them ever since. I looked around and found out Amazon has 5 lb bags of them, lol!
Re: Craving specific foods from childhood?
Ha! I know. But I wanted it so badly!

Anyhow. I guess my craving won't be satisfied

Tomato soup with Tabasco sauce and macaroni.
Skyline Chili (I now live 15 hours from my hometown so this is out of the question)
Milk, milk, milk!!!
