How's it going ladies? Ready to jump back on the healthy eating and fitness wagon? Goals for this week and longterm?

  • Yesterday was a huge eye-opener for me. I've been running more, and just let myself think that if I splurged a little here and there, it was no big deal. Yeah, no. Actually gained weight from last week. Some was definitely water, but for as much as I exercised last week, I should have been in the negative.

    So, I am back to counting points this week. I will officially hit my 10% at WW if it kills me! Plus, I already have my 3 days of running scheduled in.

    Long term: I'm planning to run a 5K Turkey Trot in DH's hometown while we're visiting for Thanksgiving. My goal is to finish well under 40 minutes, maybe even under 35. I just did 5K in a little over 36 the other day, so I think I may be on the right track.

  • Good for you! I'm not ready yet...isn't that terrible?? I can't give up my wine yet. I'll be back, though...

  • I have been getting on the scale only about every couple of weeks because I haven't been exercising.  Turns out I am still slowly losing, so that was just the motivation I needed.  I have lost 12-15 since June (when I stopped breastfeeding) and my goal is 6-7 more.  Unfortunately, I am struggling with Mia getting up every night with her teeth and having the motivation to get up early enough to exercise.  I guess my only real goal at the moment would be to fit that elliptical time in!  Probably need to start going to bed earlier to accommodate her craptastic sleeping.  Someday she will sleep, right?????
