Nursery Bedding

I bought the baby's bedding set today! Big Smile

And while I'm super excited to have it, I feel slightly guilty too, lol, because it's girl bedding and I don't know what we're having until November! BUT, it's discontinued and it was the last set and I really wanted it! She said I can return it after November if it's unopened, so I figured why not... my DH will think I'm crazy, but oh well!

Re: Nursery Bedding

  • Oh that's fun!  I say if you can return it, then it was a smart purchase!

I will also confess that I haven't even started looking at boy stuff.  This is very very bad.  I'm scared I'll cry if I'm told I'm having a boy.  (Of course, I will love my son, but I just feel like this baby is a girl and I've started to get my hopes up.)

  • I feel the same way!

I looked at some boys bedding/stuff, but I just don't love anything yet, so if I had to pick something else that would be fine.

  • I'm still in a dilemma over nursery bedding. I was told that you shouldn't use the bumper and that the comforter is pointless until they are a toddler. I also was told to only buy sheets that are fitted all the way around (not just at the edges). All of the bedding I've been looking at won't work. I'm debating just buying a sheet and mattress pad. Blahhh
