TTC Baby Rob #1 05/07, BFP 06/07, EDD 02/22/08, Baby Jackaroo born via c-section after 22 hours of labor on 02/27/08 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TTC Baby Rob #2 06/11 BFP 11/06/11 EDD 07/16/12 Natural M/C 11/25/11 @ 6w3d Baby Rob #2 (Sloane), in our hearts always. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here comes Baby Rob #3 BFP on Cycle 17 09/27/12. EDD 06/04/12! Please Stick Baby! A/S 01/22/13 Baby looking great. Officially TEAM BLUE! Jack is getting a Baby Brother! RCS scheduled for 05/29/13. William Daryll born at 9:59am on 05/29/13. Left ovary and tube removed due to peach sized tumor found during RCS. Pathology came back benign!
I can see the gross factor for some people but really if you think about it...It wasn't that long ago that woman used stuff like this. Disposable pads were made commercially available around 1888 but were too expensive for most women and the fact they were made from wood pulp made them very uncomfortable ( ouch) Kotex didn't make pad commercially available until 1980's but gained popularity in the 1970's with a cotton pad that could be washed and reused..
OMG, okay, that was a lot of info but my medical anthropology teacher really went on a tangent about this stuff..I guess it stuck with me...LOL

I would totally use these as a liner! I had no idea such things existed. I couldn't go without liners when I was pregnant and certainly not while ttc. I may have to re-visit these.
Personally I don't see the big deal. I use a panty liner with a tampon just in case, or a panty liner during the time of month where I get more CM. I think they are really cute and would probably use them.
I think a diva cup is more gross then this. No offense to diva cup users.
I've been using glad rags as backup pantyliners for years. I think cloth diapers are way grosser, but if/when I ever have a baby, I'm planning on using those too.
It's just blood. And IMHO it's less gross than a bloody steak (which you have to handle in order to cook). At least I know that my blood is 'clean' -- meaning no diseases, and only bacteria my body is used to -- whereas who knows what that cow has been doing before it ended up on my plate.
All you have to with cloth liners is throw them in the washing machine on cold after a rinse or a soak in cold water and they come out looking like new.
Sidenote: At a wedding the other weekend, the bride and groom hosted a game of "Gross/Not Gross" -- where someone says something over the loudspeaker and you go on one side of the dance floor if you think it's gross, and the other if you think it isn't gross. It was amazing to see the diversity of opinions on the grossness of various topics!
Severe MFI. Me: supposedly all clear but eggs showed vacuoles.
IVF #1 January 2012, ER Jan 14th: 34R, 27M, 23F. Day 3: 18 embies still strong. Day 5: zero "good," one "fair," the rest "poor." Transferred 3. None made it to blast or to freeze. Jan 28: BFN.
Lucky IVF #2: Transferred two beautiful day three embies on St. Patrick's Day. BFP on HPT 7dp3dt. Beta 1 (14dpER)=106; Beta 2 (16dpER)=140; Beta 3 (19dpER)=264! First u/s 4.17.

Yeah- as a liner, this would be good. I guess I don't see the big deal.
HA, who was that poster who wanted to wash her disposable pads? She got flamed here and on BOTB. Twiceenchanted or something?
I remember that girl. I believe she had a picture of her and her "boo" or whoever he was and he looked like a poor mans k-fed (which is sad, given we're talking about k-fed here). She made a lot of "spechul" posts.
I would have a hard time bleeding on something that pretty, but they would come in handy for the gym. After baby snissing is not fun and neither is exercise pee-leakage. Those good ol' bladder muscles never work the same again.

ETA: forget a word
I can't imagine they would stay that way for long. If I had to use them it would be during around my O date (I get a lot of CM), but not for AF.
