I did love it...but it is a grant funded position and the politics of university life are spoiling it for me

I am a freelance graphic designer for a major software company. I don't have a degree in GD, but I do have one in Art. I also have a Masters in Teaching, but I am working at home until my kiddos are school-aged. That is the plan, anyway. I love my job. I keep my own hours. As long as I am available to answer emails or the occasional conference call, they pretty much leave me be!

I'm a communications manager for a small non-profit.  I LOVE it!  It's for a great cause, and the people in my office are some of the nicest people I've ever met.  I would say that a degree might not be 100% necessary, but I feel that my BA in Communications and Marketing helps a TON.

I'm an Enviromental Chemist, LOVE it (doesn't pay awesome but I feel like I am making a difference) yes I needed a college degree.

I am a nurse at the trauma and burn stepdown unit on night shift. You have to have degree, associates at least. I have a BSN. I am about to move to our sister unit(patients are more stable) and to dayshift. I can't wait!! DH works M-F 8-5 so my 7p-7a shift gets in the way of us spending time together.
