Sippy cup recs!

I'm sick of my sippy cups. Emma uses a regular cup at meals, but our take and toss cups drip when she plays. I hate cups with a separate valve, but the ones I have with built-in valves get mildew on the inside of the mouthpiece. I've had it. I just need something she can take in the car that won't leak or mildew. Any suggestions?

  • Unfortunately, the only ones I've found that work well have the valve.  Like you, we only use them in the car.  I like the Gerber ones better than Playtex.  We like the Gerber ones like this:

We've had these for Gavin for 3 years now.  I did buy new valves once but otherwise they have help up really well.

  • These are the ones we've been using.  I like the Graduates better than the yellow/orange ones.
  • Ok, so how do you wash the valves? Leave them attached? Put them in the silverware compartment?

We have one of those little baskets that we stick all sophie's bottle parts in as well as the valves.  But yes, at my mom's house we just use the silverware compartment.

  • Nuby. I'm sad that DD wants straws now. The nuby has been great. No leaks!
