When to use the trifold

So after almost 3 good months using my Grovia NB AIO's, it's just about time to put them away. DD has almost outgrown them.

I'm going to try out using my Grovia covers with prefolds inside, but was just wondering if it's too early to use the trifold on her. 

I think we'd have leaky poo problems?

I've used the trifold on my LO who is younger than yours and haven't had an issue, but we use thirsties duo wraps which have leg gussets. BUT my LO's poop has switched over to Peanut butter consistency and to every 2-3 days.

We have used prefolds since the beginning stage and haven't had any problems. I always use them with a snappi, though.  I don't just set them in the diaper, that doesn't work with bf poo.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to figure out if I could do or not.

I don't necessarily care for all the folding etc. My older Grobaby shells fit snug around the legs but with just a trifold I'm worried the poo might slither out
