Baby Trend Flex Loc Infant seat

Does anyone have any experience with the baby trend Flex loc carseat? The reviews are pretty much equal on different websites. Just wondering if you guys had any experience with them.

My cousin used one, and my SIL is using one, which I just installed a few weeks ago.

My SIL is using my cousin's which is 3 years old, so I am not sure if they have made any adjustments or not. That being said, I am not a fan of the puzzle lock, the release mechanism (to take the seat out of the base) or the how the seat belt goes through the base. Also the handle is required to be down at all times in the car, so you will need to remember to always put it down.

I think I am partial to my Graco seats.

ETA: I also thought it was a lot harder to put the handle down than it was on my Snugride and Safe Seat.

Loved our Baby Trend infant seat!! We liked the triangle middle part of the handle, it was So comfortable to carry. Very easy seat to install also, and we liked the higher height/weight limits on it.

We bought one and have played with it (although no baby yet). I don't have a lot of experience with it obviously but DH and I think we'll like it. We loved the triangle in the middle. It seems so much more comfortable to carry. The only negative thing I've heard about it is the release. Since it's under the feet people have compliants?
