3rd Trimester

So I told DH I was tired...

I am normally the one who wakes at everything...last night I did not hear a thing, I think I was close to dead...DH even got up with Caroline at 2am because she was crying for a long time, never heard a thing, lol.

Now he knows what I go through on a regular basis. This tickles me.

He was a mess from getting up ONCE during the night.

  • And you'll probably hear about it forever!

  • Haha. Adam did this over the weekend - got up early with Gabe so that I could sleep in.  It's like he wanted a medal for it afterwards.

That was nice that you got a break though.  Are you sure you weren't pretending like you were close to dead Stick out tongue

  • DH will make so much noise that it wakes me up and then say something about said crying and/or coughing and then state that he's not asking me to do anything about it.  Really?  You want me to just leave our baby coughing on and off for over an hour and and not go in and give her a drink of water?
  • I must be a mean mommy because my DH is usually the one who gets up since I quit BFing a few months ago. I did it for over a year, so I feel like he owes me! LOL

  • Men are such wipmps. Ell has been waking up at night a lot and I am always the one that gets up.  Thankfully, she slept great the last 2 nights when DH was at work though...yay!

If this keeps up, I'm not sure I'll be able to manage Ellie's nighttime wake-ups and nursing a NB every couple of hours...DH might just have to get involved!
