    lol

I would recommend something obviously gender-specific. I know boys and girls named Sage, so I'd stay away from unisex/ambiguous mns unless you are specifically trying for a genderless name.

  • I know a little girl named Sage Bella.

I agree with PP....something obviously gender specific.

This reminds me of a kid that I went to school with. His name,
honest to goodness, was Blu Green. Needless to say, he went by his middle name, Eric, and so he was Eric Green instead.

Sage Green was my first thought...
  • Sage Meredith, Sage Kathleen, Sage Lydia, Sage Alexandra, Sage Emmeline

  • My cousin has a friend who named her daughter Magnolia Sage, so my vote goes for Sage Magnolia.

  • In addition to PP about something gender specific, I would also steer clear of nature-y names (like "Wren" or "Brooke") as it would sound gimmicky, or names that double as common nouns ("Lily," for example) as you run the risk of sounding like the first name is an adjective modifying the second.

    Some thoughts...

  • My daughter is Saige Brooklynn (my middle name is Lynn so I wanted it to be somehow in her middle name)
  • I would go with something classic and feminine like Elisabeth or Catherine to give her options later in life should she not want to use Sage.
