This is my first month temping and 3rd cycle since I stopped BFing DD in May. My cycles prior to getting pregnant with DD were about 40 days with O on CD 23 for the 2 cycles that I took my temp. This last cycle dropped to 36 days and now this cycle with temping, it looks like I O'd yesterday on CD18.
Has anyone's cycles gotten shorter/O shifted quite a bit when temping/charting for #2 (or more)?
Thanks!
Re: those who charted when TTC #1 and #2 (or more)
My cycle is longer after DS and I am O'ing late in my cycle.
Born 7lb, 15oz, 21-1/4, 2 mo - 12lbs, 14oz. 25", 3mo - 14lb, 4oz 26in , 4 mo - 16lb, 1oz, 26 3/4 in, 5 mo 18 lb, 4oz 27-3/4 in, 6 mo 28 3/4 in 19lb, 14oz
When I got pregnant with DD, my cycles were consistently 40 days.
With this baby, DD started nursing less, and I had my first period on March 1st. Then, 45 days later, on April 16th, I had my second period. I got my BFP on June 17, 61 days later.
All that to say, you can definitely get pregnant with your cycles still a little out of whack.
I am currently on my second cycle charting for baby #2 and am still BFing. My cycles have definitely gotten longer. I thought last month may be a fluke (I had a 30 day cycle and O'd on CD 21), but it seems I am following the same pattern this month.
Pre baby, I O'd around CD 15 or 16.
