Multiples
Mutiples Re-Sale
So we have been hearing lately a lot about multiples resale items in our area. Have any of you had experience with these sales, and are they worth going to? Thanks!

I don't go to any multiples specific sales here (they seem to be pretty small, plus with b/g twins the draw of having two of the same item isn't as big LOL). I do go to the huge Just Between Friends consignment sales we have here twice a year. There's one in most big cities if you want to google them and see about your area. I started out by just shopping, because I was able to get about 50% of their winter clothes one year for less than $100. Now I also consign at them, and last sale (my first time consigning) I actually made more than I spent.
I think that the big consignment sales are absolutely worth it when you have to get clothes and equipment for two babies, plus they're great for quickly getting rid of stuff they've outgrown for a decent price.
It's really a case-by-case basis. We have a kids consignment sale run by a local Nestie going on right now, and after a couple years of shopping, this is my first year selling. It's fantastic. She does a great job with organizing and promoting. I'm (hopefully) making a ton of money.
The downside of a general kids consignment sale, and the UPside of a multiples sale, is the clothes. I have b/b twins, so I like their clothes to coordinate. The clothes at the multiples sale in my area are organized by individual seller. They have a giant sign saying b/b, g/g, b/g, etc. with all the matching/coordinating stuff sold together. I love it.
No clue how other sales do it, but they are totally worth it to go check out. Things can get nutty, so be ready to throw some elbows!
My moms of multiples club does a sale once a year and I guess it's a pretty big deal. I get to go the night before since I'm a member, so I won't be there to witness the crazies. I've been told it gets a little ridiculous...the elbowing, pushing, etc.
There is a FB page for resale (multiples)...not sure if it is through the nest or if I found it some other way. There are tons of clothes listed with matching/coordinating outfits.
