I was going to do sesame street since they seemed to really like it. They are slowly growing away from it though. So now i'm rethinking...what ideas or did you do for your first? photos if possible Thanks!!
For their first birthday we did a luau theme. Their second we went with a barnyard theme. The luau theme was also a pool party since their birthday is in July, DD wore pink and DS wore an aqua blue then decorations were all the tropical colors. We did cupcakes, I didn't want them destroying a whole cake and having to clean it up. We grilled and tried to keep a Hawaiian theme using pineapples and other fruits.

One of my girlfriends did the mickey/minnie mouse theme for her LO's. She is super creative and did tons of decorations on her cricket. I am sure whatever theme you choose you could find cute decorations/favors etc.. on etsy, as if you are like me I have not a single ounce of Martha Stewart in me

We did two parties for ours. We did a Dora and Diego theme for DH's side of the family that lives within 5 minutes of us, and we did another party combined with their cousin's for my side of the family in a city 3.5 hours away from us. That party had a candyland theme.
Re: bday themes for boy/girl twins.
farm theme is so much fun and works for boy and girl. We did it for Griffin's 1st - soooo many fun theme based things you can do.
