Pinterest ?'s

So, I started looking around on Pinterest. I don't get the thrill of it....isn't it the same as book marking a page on your computer? 

Why am I following all these people I don't know? I haven't followed anyone, yet it did it for me.

I pinned a costume idea, but it doesn't have suggestions or directions. Did I miss something?

Lots of things, if you click on them, it will take you to instructions or a recipe. Many things link to other blogs or websites. But yea, it basically is a way to organize bookmarks on your computer.

Thanks! What about the following? Most of who it marked are FB friends, that makes sense but the random unknown doesn't. Do I follow someone if I repin their pin?

There are some generic people that it makes you follow automatically if you pick certain interests.You can unfollow them if you want. It is a lot like bookmarking stuff on your computer but its just neat to have the visuals and "share" it with others too..

I joined it just a few weeks ago, and I'm addicted. I looked at it awhile, didn't like it. Now, I absolutely love it.. once I understood it and got into it.

It's nice to kinda have all my "stuff" in one spot, and visuals. And, I've gotten GREAT ideas from others.

Does anyone know if the original image is deleted (like, if someone pinned the image from a blog and then the blogger deleted it) then the pin is lost too?
