purple feet while in bumbo??

Anyone else's DC get purple feet when sitting in the bumbo?  Whenever I see it I take her out immediately.  She's not chubby and certainly not too big for it...it's so strange that her feet do that.  Meant to ask the pedi today but I forgot.

Yep, my DS 's feet do the same thing.  He's a chunker though.  He didn't like being in the bumbo for very long anyway.  Especially since he can sit up on his own now.

Are her feet tilted up when she is sitting in it?  Hmmmm....I have never noticed Livvy's feet doing this.  Then again she usually has socks on.  Now I will have to watch to see if hers do this too....

Can't go by me. My dd has acrocyanosis. her extremities turns blue at the drop of a dime. Especially during baths. It used to freak me out, but now...

The pedi said it's an autonomic nervous system response. It happens because her autonomic nervous system is immature. I don't know if it's the same thing.

I hope your pedi has some answers for you. ?

Not in the bumbo but in the pouch sling. His circulation gets cut off if his hips are at a certain angel. We just watch out for it and change his positions if it happens.
