I am embarrassed to ask this because I feel like I should know, but my daughter is getting baptized today, and I was wondering what I should do for a thank you for the pastor?
I was thinking of making a homemade card out of cardstock paper with DD's picture on the front, and then a check inside? I just am unsure on the amount. What do you think...$25? $50?
TIA!
Re: Baptism Question: GIft for Pastor?
For our son's baptism, we ended up giving about $50, I think. In our baptism preparation class, they had suggested a donation of $5, but we felt that was much too low.

We gave $50 and a framed photo of the church on the day the pastor married us (we did a candlelighting ceremony with the lights dimmed and everyone had a candle. the pastor admired it so much when he came to visit us before the Baptism that we made him a copy).
