due date on registry

So, I'm starting to get my registry together and I was wondering when I should be my due date?  I'm due Dec 2nd but I've heard some people putting the due date earlier on their registry so they get the discounts and coupons in time.  How much earlier should you set the due date?  Or is it even necessary?

I'm due 2 Dec also but I put that date as my due date.  I didn't know that it would benefit me to put it any earlier.  I don't want to throw off anyone who is purchasing items for us either.

The told me they would send about a completion coupon a month before my due date. I think that would be plenty of time to get what else is needed.

Blah! We just finished ours. There's so much stuff out there! But anyhoo, our registry has my due date. Baby will probably be late since she's my first, but we'll see.

With DD I put my real due date as the due date. It worked out fine for me.... honestly you will get things that you didn't know you wanted, but will get things you realize you don't actually want, etc etc. Don't stress about it... you will have plenty of time to get all the stuff you need before the baby gets here. I actually liked having something to get at the store once DD was here so I had an excuse to get out of the house!! Half the stuff you won't NEED right away anyways so don't stress about it!
