My DD likes to scream and make noise but I haven't heard anything that remotely sounds like babababa, dadadada, etc. When did your baby start to babble like that?
I would say it was around 7.5-8 months. She says mama all the time and is learning to work her voice but doesn't really babble yet alot still. She is 9 months.
My dd started within the last few weeks, and my dh is so excited because it sounds like she is saying "dada" over and over. I let him enjoy it, but it cracks me up because she has no clue what she is saying!
DS started trying to babble around four months. He was saying "mama" by five months. He hasn't said "dada" yet, but he's learning to use many other consonant and vowel sounds.
Around 4.5 months she started babbling "ma ma ma", then a few weeks ago she added "ba ba ba". And on Friday, much to my husband's delight, she did her first "da da da" along with "na na na". So between 4.5 & 6.5 months.
5 months he started the bababa, dadada, mamama. A couple times he's looked directly at DH and said dada and also looked at me and said mama, but we think it's just conicidence.
