LOL to all of this! How about if you couldn't leave the house without crimped hair, a side pony and neon slouch socks. Or you had to race home to catch David Lee Roth on the 4 O'clock rock show (was that only Canadian??) and scream we're not gonna take it. Or if you can remember the Prell commercial. Or if you've ever talked on a party line and I don't mean a 1-900 number.

OMG, definitely this!  Can I tell you (slightly embarrassed), I still have one in the basket with all my combs/hairbands!  We used to look cool with them in our back pocket as we skated around the roller rink, too!

A few others, Sergio Valente Jeans, stickers (anything with a rainbow or unicorn was cool),  having your shirt collar up (if you layers shirts, that was even better!), wearing a denim jackets and those knotted friendship braclets!

What about the show "Dance Party USA"?  That was a favorite of mine!  Kelly Ripa was a regular on it when she was young.

I still have my braided barrettes (1 set) actually. Kind of scary. And the Doo Run Run LP was my first record. I loved me some Shawn Cassidy.

And my Donnie doll was a Lothario. Marie, unfortunately, lost her beautiful brown hair in a horrific hair-cutting incident. Poor Marie.

The rainbows.  I totally forgot about the rainbows.  I had a friend who got to decorate her room with rainbows and I was green with envy.  Rainbows were the best.
