I showed DH the fruit ticker, so now baby is being called poppyseed. Not sure whether it will change along with when the fruit does or whether we will just be so used to calling it poppyseed.
Only time will tell. Plus we are going to be team green the entire pregnancy, so anything but IT 24/7 would be great. Even if it's poppy seed when I get the size of a hot air balloon.
We don't yet know the sex, but we called our 9 year old daughter "Young Clive" until she was born. I find referring to baby as something other than "it" to be so much more satisfying!
We call ours, "little skittle" or "the skittle". It looked like one in our very first early ultrasound. Everyone says peanut or bean, we wanted something different for us.
We are calling it something different each week depending on the size chart. For example, at 5 weeks, baby was Giovanni (size=Apple seed=> Johnny Appleseed => My Uncle Johnny's real name was Giovanni). This week it's a prune and we're calling it Prudence. Next week it's a lime and will be Margarita!
hahaha the Man and I called our little bundle of joy, Wormie because when I first found out I paniced and said it was a little wormie parasite. Now we are both on board with parenting but the nickname stuck.
We have referred to this LO as peanut since the day I found out I was pregnant. For awhile after our 8 week u/s, we alternated between peanut and penguino cuz DH thought baby looked like a penguin.

We totally go with the fruit ticker! and the funny thing is, the day before the ticker is supposed to switch to the next fruit, my husband insists on feeding me a bunch of whatever the next one will be... so before we went to a blueberry he fed me a bunch of blueberries, next week he made a point of bying and stuffing me with raspberries. We're in the green olive stage now and thank goodness he did not try to make me eat a bunch of olives... haha...
We called our first "Little Dude" through the whole pregnancy, even though we were Team Green.
I call my cat Little Dude!
We call the baby "Sprinkle." When I had my first ultrasound I told a friend it was the size of a sprinkle. When we went out to dinner with her later, she toasted "To Sprinkle" and it's stuck ever since.

Re: What are you calling bump? :)
My name starts with an "A", my husband's with a "B" and my son's with a "C".
I am now proudly carrying "Baby D."
