I just took my temp every time I woke, and I averaged the temps. They showed a clear shift every time. I also used OPKs and checked CM to double check it all.
Right now, the temps on my chart are those at the same time of day (close to 8 am ish) no matter how much sleep was right before those temps. But even still, FF gave me CHs for all the months I charted.
I did. DD was 10 months old at the time, not STTN yet, and her wake times were not consistent. I didn't think my chart would be even remotely accurate since there were many days where I took my temp at different times. I got pregnant with #2 on our first cycle TTC, so my chart must have been more reliable than I thought.
Surprisingly, yes it actually did! DD1 was still up once or twice a night at that time. She always woke up around 5:30 or 6, then we'd go back to sleep and I'd chart around 8:30am.
I also charted while TTC DD1, and my temps, both times, were always in the same ranges, despite sporadic sleep the second time around.

I did. Even though the baby would wake to eat anywhere from 4-6 am, I knew no matter what I would get a solid chunk of sleep from 11-3, so I just set my alarm for 3 am and took my temp and went back to sleep. Worked beautifully.
Re: Did anyone temp/chart for Baby No. 2?
Totally! I temp'd for #2 and now for #3.

It can TOTALLY be done.
