UTI - anyone else had one?

I called the doctor today b/c I was peeing about every 30-45 mins and still felt like I couldn't get everything out. I also had to get up 5 times last night.  I know you have to go more frequently but not this much.

 Went to the office and they did a UA and it was positive. So they put me on Keflex.  Just glad I went in to get checked and not put it off,

Anyone else had one yet?

I got one the day after my BFP- they're common in pregnancy.

Embarrassing (and maybe TMI) but I POAS and got a really faint line with a dollar store test, and wanted to use FRER, so I pushed REALLY hard and got a couple more drops to get that line to show on a second test within a couple of minutes.

I thought I had just pushed too hard and strained a pee muscle, so I didn't go to the doctor right away, but then other signs came up, and I ended up going in and finding out it was in fact a UTI.

It's nothing to worry about, just make sure you finish all your meds!

Not during the pregnancy but unfortunately I get plagued frequently. Grrr.... I hate it. UTIs are such a pain (literally)

I get about 4 UTI's a year.  It's horrible! I took antibiotics up until we started TTC.  I am worried I may get one while pregnant too.. but my friend had one and they put her on the same meds you are on and she cleared up right away.  Good luck.

I've had four since I"ve been pregnant and they've now got me on preventative medicine.  It sucks.

Apparently they're real common with pregnancy, which is why they're so aggressively tested for in the beginning. I got one and didn't even realize I had it and now just got done with antibiotics. hopefully they did the trick!
