I've been sick for about a week and a half now. The only thing I really have left is a slightly runny/stuffy nose and a terrible head ache and my facial bones hurt and the occasional cough. when I suck in through my nose to clear it, it hurts a bit. my head/nose feels like I have a really painful sneeze stuck in there. do you think this is a sinus infection and I should see a doc or just keep dealing with it?
Re: npr: sinus infection?
Do you have green or yellow gunk coming out of your nose? Is you cough from sinus drainage or is it more in your chest?
Do this test and you will know if you have a full on sinus infection, although if you have been sick for 10 days now, I imagine you do especially with your description.
Stand with your feet together or just slightly apart (whatever is comfortable) bend over from the waist and put your head down as close to being upside down as possible and hold for about a minute. Does it make your face or head hurt like a mother? If so you have a sinus infection. Get the to a doctor for some antibiotics.
Just an fyi... I've had the same thing now for just about 2 weeks and I finally went to the clinic and got diagnosed with a sinus infection. I'm now on Amoxicillin and I am starting to see improvement. GL and feel better soon!
