I promised A that I would support her effort to study.

in Babies on the Brain

She has to take her boards (every 5 years) and she needs to buckle down. I have no problem reminding her of that when she reaches for the remote or when she naps. But right now she is procrastinating by cleaning the kitchen, and I hear the washing machine on in the background. Meanwhile here I sit silently on the couch, 'letting it play out.'
