IVF #3, Take 4 :(

I had my baseline yesterday for IVF #3, take 4 and it didn't go well.   I actually thought things might work this time since I started a Provera withdrawal bleed on Tuesday.  But, my lining is still too thick.  No cysts this time, but the bleeding has pretty much stopped and I already have 8 follicles at 10.  So, basically my lining and follicles are out of sync.  No surprise since my last period was just a couple of weeks ago and this bleed was forced by Provera.

I was told to do two Ganirelix injections last night.  Now we wait and see if the bleeding starts back up.  If I don't get more bleeding or if the follicles are already too large by the time it does, I will get canceled again.

Seriously, I really don't think we will ever start IVF #3.  I'm at the point where it seems insane to continue to try.  You know the saying that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.  Well, I feel like that is where we are.  I just don't see how things will be different.  But, I'm still praying that something changes between now and Monday and I don't get canceled.  If we get canceled again, I don't know if we will give this a fifth try.

nooooo! I can't believe it This is just thinking out loud....but since you have 8 follies that seem to be on track, could you have the ER and freeze embryos until next cycle for transfer? I am keeping my fingers crossed for you hon! Keep us posted. ((hugs))
