the garlic ear drops worked!!

Lori & MauiWedding08 - Just wanted to say thank you so much for the suggestion to use the garlic ear drops for LO's chronic ear infections!  I got some drops from Whole Foods about a month ago and started using them every morning and night.  Last Friday we took LO to the pedi just for her to look into LO's ears (I wanted to make sure her ears weren't infected and we just didn't know it or the drops weren't causing a blockage or something) & for the first time in 6 months they were completely clear!  She was able to get her 5 month shots (she's almost 11 months!) 

I don't know if these drops are not the forever cure-all, but hopefully they have bought us some time and if she does end up needing tubes, it is not for a few years!!

Thanks again!!  (oh but warning for anyone else considering using the drops...they stink!  Just know going in, vampires will not be a problem!)

yay, that is such great news!!

J has had some pretty nasty looking ears (the ND lets me look in the ear scope thing) and garlic mullien oil hasn't let us down yet. You are right, the smell is pretty potent!

J loves swimming and I have a feeling that may have been the cause of his first ear infection (double infection a week or so after he spent 2 days at the water park resort) so I now put the drops in his ears before bed on days he went swimming.  So far so good.  I also expect I will use them to as prevention whenever he gets a nasty cold since it seems like that is the other time he is most susceptible.

Woo hoo! That's fantastic! So far, we've not needed to use them, but I know they work wonders since my niece had chronic ear infections and many rounds of antiobiotics before garlic drops did the trick for her! I just love when homeopathic stuff works well...so easy and affordable!
