i havent been on this board in forever.  I'm so sad that she is having problems. 

StillWaiting - I had my boy at 25 weeks and he is perfect!  Just wanted to give some encouragement.  I know 1 week is a huge difference but it was so unexpected that nothing was prepared.  only 1 shot to help the lungs to develop and they didnt know we had different blood types and that I was group B strep +.  so he wasn't treated for any of those things for a few days unless the initial stabalization got settled in. 

So my advice is see if they can test for those while still pregnant and ask about the shots to help mature the lungs.  all my hugs and thoughts for you guys right now!! 

oh and my friends sister use to be the head charge nurse at UC's NICU.  She left a little bit ago to finish her masters.  If you need anything let me know and I will contact her - like names of the best nurses.  Believe me they make ALL the difference in your NICU journey .

I've been wondering too, hopefully they kept her in and on bed rest until the baby is ready!

Looks like as of yesterday, she was still hanging in there.  She's posting on the Preemies board.
