three hour nap?!?

DH was going to bring LO by the office today for lunch, and when I texted him to see when they were going to leave, he said that LO has been napping since 9 am.

That's crazy.

That's awesome. DD never slept like that.

I would just make sure LO doesn't sleep too long, or it will mess him/her up for the rest of the day!

Two words for you, "growth spurt."  Both of my babies became excellent sleepers during them.

we get those from time to time now. confession: when H was younger and we swaddled, she did that routinely every afternoon. i miss those days!

it's so awesome when it happens but at the same time - you don't expect it so you can't do anything for fear the second you start X, they'll wake up!

LO does them a couple times per week, but we never know when it will happen. I love it when I have lots of work to do, but it also has happened a couple of times when the grandparents come to watch him and then they miss out on the fun and come just to watch him sleep.
