I need ideas for DD's bedroom

I've never really done DD's bedroom and she's been asking for a mermaid bedroom for awhile, so now I'm trying to figure out how to do this, without it being Ariel themed. Something like this would be perfect...but they are sold out. Any ideas?

Her walls are a brighter lavender (really do not want to repaint). I will be getting new bedding...but I sort of want to get the art work figured out first.

Ideas?
