Hi!
New to this board--rec'd by my SIL that I check it out. Looking over the board, I thought perhaps folks on here might have a good recomendation--I have a craptastic diaper cover pattern that I hate hate hate, and I would like to find a sewing pattern for fitteds, covers, or AIOs that come recommended by someone who has actually used the pattern. I am willing to spend the money on a good pattern, and I thought folks here might be able to point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance!
Re: Recommendations for Sewing your Own Dipes?
You can really use just about any pattern to sew just about any type of diaper (except prefolds).
Darling Diapers Unlimited is fabulous, and includes explicit directions for sewing fitteds, covers, AIOs, AI2s, and pockets.
Other patterns I've tried: La Di Da, Very Baby Basic AIO, Sprout Snap, Rita's Rump Pocket, Cloth Revolution. The first two are paid and the last three are free. They are all fine. If you click on the link to my sewing blog in my siggy, you can see examples of all except the last two (which I sewed before I started blogging!)
