Kids chair

I'd like to avoid adding a childrens table & chair set to our already cluttered kitchen/family room.  I thought my DDs could use our coffee table to "draw" etc. I'm looking for a chair that would  fit under our coffee table.  I don't want to spend a lot of $.  I've looked at online @ Ikea & Target Walmart's site is being funky .  Any other suggestions for just a chair?

I saw on your ticker your kids are 1. At that age I personally wasn't giving my DD anything to draw with or on. At about 1.5 years she got the toddler crayons and a big poster board on the kitchen floor, since she didn't really sit still for too long anyways. The other thing we got her was an Aqua Doodle wall mat. we stuck it to the wall and she could stand there and draw. And since it's just water I didn't worry about "pictures" all over my walls.

She has a 2 sided easel now too. We pull it out and set it up in the kitchen. Or she sits at the kitchen table in a booster to draw. No special chairs, no additional expense.

We were looking for some like that 2-pack pp posted, but ended up getting a couple at Big Lots. I don't remember the name, but I'll take a look when I get home if I remember. They were $19 each.

ahh.. ok. well, still space is an issue in our house so we try not to add aditional items. I did gt DD a plastic tray (think breakfast in bed tray) at BRU with Dora on it that has room for crayons and paper on the sides. she can sit on the floor and draw on it. or do a puzzle. we put it away when not in use

do you have ikea? ikea is great for inexpensive kids things and their stuff is not bulky at all. they also have paper rolls that sit table top that might be cool. see link below.

Thanks for the suggestions!  I'm off to measure the height of my coffee table.
