spotting before BFP?

If you normally spot before your period, what was your cycle like the month you got your bfp? Did you still spot and then it went away and your period never came? Or did you not even spot that month? Trying to keep hope up...

I didn't spot at all around my period, and I still haven't had any sort of bleeding.  Good luck to you!

I had some spotting, but it was halfway between the last period I had and when the next one should have been, nothing when I should have gotten my regular spotting before my period. GL, keep your spirits up.

I usually spot before my period, and I didn't before I got my BFP. But I had a little bit of brown spotting at 20 DPO, 6 days after I got my BFP, so it is possible to have spotting and still be pregnant.

I normally would spot 2 days before af but the month I got my bfp I had the smallest bright pink spot on the toilet paper right before bed. If I wasn't watching for it I probably wouldn't have even noticed. I was pretty sure that af would be there in the moring since I felt like it was going to come at any second but I instead I woke up to a very faint bfp at 11dpo.

I appreciate everyone's responses.  I have been spotting for awhile now so I really feel like I'm out. :-(  I'm so mad at my body, grrr.

 I've been spotting the past couple of days and freaked out. Everything is okay as of right now so don't give up hope!

I thought I was starting my period for three days because of the spotting and then I woke up and there wasn't anything so I took a test.

I had some VERY slight implantation spotting so light I thought I might have been seeing things, but I have heard of some people having definite spotting from implantation.

I had a bunch of spotting right before I got my BFP, and a little bit of spotting for 2 days after.  I didn't even test until a couple of days after I was due because the spotting started so I figured I was getting my period, but then it never fully came.  Also, I spotted a little bit for a day this month right around when my period was due.  After worrying about that, I've learned that it's not uncommon to spot around when you would normally get your period.  Just something to keep in mind if you do get your BFP.  Good luck!

I spotted right before my bfp.

 I have also had spotting due due to a "perigestational bleed".  It can be normal.....
