Ever had a negative at 12 dpo but then get a positive?

Yes, I'm grasping here.  Another negative test today and have what feels like AF cramps.  But my chart still looks great, so I'm remaining somewhat optimistic until AF shows (which, based on my history, should be anytime).

I've never had a positive, but I have scoured the FF chart galleries for positives after negatives, and it happens quite often.

Not happened to me personally but I have known several charters who needed a few more than 12 days to get their BFPs.  GL!

I am totally guilty of looking at the gallery for BFP charts where the person got a negative before a positive.  It definitely does happen.

You should try posting on the 1st tri board since all those ladies have gotten BFP. OR you can search the FF charts. I've seen quite a lot of BFP charts after 12 DPO on FF.

This. I spent part of the morning searching FF charts for "Negative HPT before positive" and tons came back 12 DPO and beyond. I was actually surprised at how many DPO some were. I think sometimes FF calculates O wrong though which makes it seem like its a long time past O when it really wasn't.

with DD I got a BFN at 11 DPO...I started spotting at 12 DPO and thought it was AF but after a few days of spotting and it was clear it wasn't AF, I tested again (this was at  16 DPO) I got a BFP. I also had bad AF-like cramps prior to the BFP (and after for awhile..) Does this help give you hope? GL!

ETA: implantation spotting (which is what I think I had) is rare, just keep that in mind

I did.  I tested at 12 DPO and 13 DPO and they were both negative.  I finally got my positive on 15 DPO.

I did with DS, though I didn't chart that month, so I'm not entirely sure when I o'd. but I didn't get my BFP until I was sure I was late.

This!  There are a LOT of FF charts that don't get a + until 16, even 17DPO... I know because I too have kept hoping this would happen to me...

 Just curious where you got these stats?  Doesn't it depend on the test?  I read the directions on one yesterday that claimed 69% accuracy at 6 days before missed period.

 As to the OP, I wasn't charting when I had my DS, but I think I tested around 12 DPO and got a BFN, then started spotting for two days.  After that didn't turn into a real period, I tested again (I guess around 14 or 15 DPO) and it was positive.  So definitely don't give up hope!
