sharp pain below my belly button

i have a sharp pain just below my belly button. it is not anything unbarable but it is for sure uncomfortable. should i be concerned? i have a doc appointment at 9:30 tomorrow morning but im wondering if i should go to the emergency.

 

any suggestions?

If it were me, I would just wait 'till your appointment. But if you're really concerned, maybe you can call your hospital for advice.

This was happening to me too off and on and my doctor thinks it is from dehydration.  She said I should be consuming at least 1/2 oz of water per pound that I weigh.  So for someone who weighs 120#, you should get at least 60 oz of water per day at the minimum (and definitely more during the hot summer months).  Once I got rehydrated the pain went away.

I was getting sharp pains yesterday and all of last night.  Dehydration sounds right, I didn't drink as much water as I usually do and we were outside all day.  What did your doctor say?

I had that too but my doctor told me it was from my muscles being torn apart from my stomach expanding.  It sucks!

Could just be gas and constipation...I am 32 weeks and have been having sharp pains that come and go for a week and my OBGYN was not concerned...told me to increase my fiber and water intake. Good luck!
