Can you hide specific people from chat? I'm not seeing the option, but I'd really like to hide my MIL...

    I haven't found a way to do it either so I just logout -- it sucks.

    You can create groups in chat and then go online and offline within those groups.

    You sure can, you just have to make a "group" for that/those person, and then in the chat window slide the green over on that group and it hides you from them.  To make a group just got to "Edit friends" under the drop down menu on the right.  I have like 5 different groups.
