I am (I think) 10 DPO (didn't chart this cycle, TTC#2). I tested this AM with a really cheap test and there was a little "shadow" so I just went out and got a better test and there is definitely a (faint) pink line. I am in complete shock! We got pg with DD in one cycle and now this one as well.
I only joined you gals for about a week on this board but it was fun... made the 2WW a little easier (even though I only waited 1 1/2W!) Although I didn't chart this cycle, I would encourage you to (I charted with DD and it was very helpful). Also- be very aware of your CM b/c it is a good indicator!
What we did this cycle: BD every other day days 6-9, ED 10-15. We also went to Vegas, this may have helped.
P.S. DH is coming home for lunch in about 15 minutes... what should I do? I was thinking of letting DD bring him the stick
Re: O.M.G.... BFP!
Congrats!
Something about having your child touch something you peed on skeevs me out. I'd find a new plan. She could just tell him a secret: "I'm going to be a big sister."

Congrats!!
Or have her tell him she is going to be a big sister!
It's in a plastic bag.... and she's only turning 2 tomorrow so this might get lost in translation, but it is a good idea
this!
Got a plain t-shirt you could write it on in Sharpie or something?
I'm sorry, I'm just not a fan of showing anyone anything I've peed on. My husband will have to take my word for it.
ETA: Or you could say "I heard some news today, guess who's going to be a big sister?" And have your daughter say "me!" Either way, congrats, I'm sure he'll be incredibly excited
Have a wonderful pregnancy!

Congrats! I like that you are involving your daughter. I agree with PPs about not having her carry around something you have peed on, baggie or not...
I think the card is cute!!

Yes, seriously. Probably anyway. I'm sorry, but I'm not a fan of showing people things I've peed on. Even my husband. I won't post a pic here, either. It probably won't matter anyway. If we need treatments, I'll probably be tested with betas anyway. But it's my prerogative and my choice to not show anyone stuff I urinated on. And my husband would be fine with that, as well. If he asks, fine, I guess. If not, I don't see why he would ever suspect I wasn't being truthful of a BFP.

I'm sorry for intruding on this conversation, but why does someone have to show their husband the pee test? I mean if I told my husband I was pregnant, I highly doubt he would question it. I don't think he would ask me to prove it. I have no reason to lie to him about being pregnant and I doubt that anyone does. That includes BP. Sure, if he asked me to see the test, I would show him. But he is generally not interested in anything that had to do with me and the bathroom.
congrats!
