Grey?

What do you think of this name for a boy?  DS is William (Will).  The full name would be Grey Michael Mc_____.  I think Greyson Michael (NN Grey) flows better but I'm not a fan of how trendy Greyson is right now.  Can you think of another variation of Grey that we could shorten and use the NN Grey???

I've actually always liked "Grey"... though part of that is because it's one of my nicknames for my sister Grace. Greyson is okay by me, and I usually hate the -son names. You could go with Gregory, too... or just "Grey," if that's what you want to call him. I think it's strong enough to stand on its own. It's also pretty versatile, which is a must for any name I like.

I don't like the name because I think of it as more of a color than a name but if you like it than you should use it.  I do like Grayson and Graham.

Hmm, I've never heard of anyone named Greyson; is it common in your area? I think it sounds better than just Grey, more like a name and less like a color.
