Food Allergy

Disney Dining with a Peanut Allergic DS

It's our first time to Disney, and my DS (3) is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts.  I'm told if I call ahead about two weeks and let them know about his allergies, they are helpful.  Has anyone done this?  Any tips in general for eating in the parks with a PA child? I will be calling soon but know so many moms are Disney experts when it comes to this stuff.

 TIA!

  • We haven't been to Disney with DS yet, but everything I've read says that they are wonderful! If you google "Disney with Food Allergies" it will turn up a bunch of information that will hopefully be helpful.

They have even been recognized by FAAN for being so great about accomodating food allergies! :)

  • I haven't dealt with my child an allergies at disney yet but I can tell you from our experience when my cousin was with us. They asked right up front what the allergies are and said they would make the chef aware of it and make sure that non of the food she was allergic to are involved. Even when you make your reservations they come out and ask you if you have any allergies. They also ask when they seat you if not noted on your reservation

  • We won't be going to Disney for a few years still- but I've heard absolutely wonderful things about how accomadating they are so that all of the kiddos there can have a good time and be included.
