When to start washing off poo (solids q)

DD2 had her first taste of banana today. I'm not sure that she actually consumed any of it. She was EBF up to this point.

So do I need to start washing off the poo before I put it into the washerd now that she has started solids or do I wait until the consistancy changes?

  • I waited until it started getting thicker. It's now like thick peanut butter and I either wipe it off with toilet paper or scrape it off with a plastic utensil.

  • We just started with bananas this week, and I'm not changing our wash routine until his poop changes.

And I wanted to warn you, if you weren't already aware, that banana poop has tiny black threads in it.  Just wanted you to know that your baby does not have worms!
